2023 Outcomes Report: Changing Lives for Good

In 2023, Discovery Partnered with Brigham & Women’s Hospital, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, to review outcomes of more than 17,000 patients. The 2023 Outcomes Report includes their assessment of our in-treatment outcomes. In 2024, the team at Brigham and Women’s Hospital will provide an analysis of our Discovery365 post treatment outcomes.

Substance Use Disorder

99% can identify early warning signs of becoming sick and are willing to ask for help.

Substance Use Disorder: Percentage includes patients who admitted to a substance use disorder treatment program under Discovery Behavioral Health in 2022 (between 1/1/22 and 12/31/22) and completed the Recovery Assessment Scale (RAS, N=3,107). Programs include Cliffside Malibu, Authentic Recovery Center, Casa Palmera, Pinelands Recovery Center, PaRC, Prosperity and New Hope Ranch. As patients who admitted to treatment presented with addiction as their primary mental illness, “addiction” here also refers to “mental illness experience” as written in the RAS.
